Am I the only who writes with a pen and a paper?

382 words written, 7,503 left.

I know what to write but... I don't know how to write it! I seriously stare at my notebook for hours trying to come up with a decent paragraph! I'm dead.

 

SHUT UP, AND STOP EVERYTHING!!!!!

I just had the biggest spider I have ever seen, (literally, and I don't use that word lightly!) run across my foot while sitting at my desk. Instead of freaking out, I followed it, trapped it between a running shoe, and a dirty sock, took it to the window and let it go.

I feel like a super human with powers right now!!! Strong!!! Everybody write about me!

I'm telling you it was HUGE!



Seriously... I am pretty proud of myself right now. It really was big.

 

I'm here as well. I had an idea, a really good idea, but it just didn't gel into a story. I tried not thinking about it, I tried being determined. I tried thinking of other stories, but nothing original was coming to mind, lots of retreads of other stories I'd written.

Then I remembered an idea I'd had and started a few scenes last year sometime, that got put aside as I worked on other things. 3 days later, that's now largely written. I have some scenes to flesh out, but the story's there. I like it.

And I can't imagine writing with pen and paper, that's a horrible idea.

So I had a story that I tried writing for a previous CAW, it just didn't work. I think with a major rework it could be good for this theme, maybe even really good.

So far I am really liking what I have written. If I can translate the rest of my thoughts to words, I may be doing the happy dance.

 

HMMM A STRONG WOMAN STORY FOR UNCLE? HMM Let's see he drinks she kicks his ass and he drinks more yup a match made in heaven maybe? LOL

 

I could still use a hand with the proofreading, if anyone can spare a bit of time from theirs.

Hope everybody's is coming along well.

There's no law saying you can't write something else. Churn out a non-entry if you like, or start something completely new. Don't limit yourself to CAWs and KAWs. Their themes are starting points, but that's it. You've been around long enough to know a zillion different story ideas can be made to fit a Host's theme, but that means there are nearly a zillion not yet written.

So get to work.

It's seven days before you can submit. It's 15 days before you're too late. That's long enough to write a couple, or write one good one and let it mature for a while.

I'm kinda slow too, unfortunately. But I made some progress and almost done with the beginning, so it should flow more smoothly soon.

 

I guess the correct term to use for my entry is "evolving". As I write, I come up with ideas that require foreshadowing or background, so I keep changing things. Ugh. Maybe I'm trying too hard.

 

I finally finished a 13,000-word chapter in the long story I'm writing, so I can dedicate the next week to this short story.
Does anyone happen to know a way to save an OpenOffice document as a text file and turn paragraphs breaks into two line in the text file? I have been trying for two years to figure out a way to not have to manually add the blank lines between paragraphs so I can post chapters on sexstories. The other sites I post on take html documents, so it's simple, save as...

 

Word warping. Turn it off, then copy, and it should be fine (at least in Notepad that's how it is).
