Reminds me of simpler times

 

I tried my best to always be there for my children when they were growing up. But providing for them was my main concern. I worked a lot and wonder if I worked too much when I listen to this song. It touches me deeply

 

This song brings a tear to my eye and makes me think of my father. I just wish I thanked him for all he did for me before he died. He was a great man ❤️

 

This one always makes me well up.....

 

This is an upbeat song that makes me happy and sad when I hear it. This girl moved to our little town I grew up in. She was shy and no one really talked to her at school. Long story short we became great friends. Her mom worked afternoons. So we would just chill at her house by ourselves. We had good conversations and danced around her house in long t shirts and panties. Her mom had a sad story I won’t share. My guess is her past was haunting her and they packed up and moved away abruptly. I still picture all the fun times we shared and wonder if they’re okay. This song was one of her favorites. We danced to it often.

 

This one... I've heard most of the songs above. I consider myself to have heard a lot of music. Granted that is mostly rock based, through metal and other variations of said genre.

I've been a fan of this band but can't say I followed them closely because I didn't know this album was out when I heard this song for the first time. It certainly makes me feel, and a few things at that. And of course, it couldn't have played at a more opportune time.

 

This song reminds of this girl who gave me some unbelievable toe curlers. She’d call me and start singing, you’re the cutest thing that I’ve ever seen, I really love your peaches, wanna shake your tree. I get hard every time I hear this song. Just talking about it is making it move now

 

Himself is an amazing pianist. This was the first thing he played for me, and I love hearing it and remembering that beautiful moment.



I loved this song for years, but hate it now. A radio DJ said he was inspired to play it because the morning was so breathtakingly beautiful… sunny, warm, stunning blue sky… absolute perfection! I was happily bopping around Mom’s kitchen in Brooklyn when we got the call from my sister, crying and telling us to turn on the TV… a plane has just flown into the towers…

It was one of my wife's favorite songs that I played and sang for her often...fills me with a lot of emotions when I hear or play it these days
